Wanda Jo's Story
Wanda Jo Hammond (1945-2018) was a beacon of light in her community, dedicating her life to serving others with unwavering compassion and generosity.
Born and raised in a small town, Wanda Jo understood the importance of community support from an early age. Despite facing her own hardships, she always found ways to help those in need—whether through organizing food drives, visiting the elderly, or mentoring young people.
Her philosophy was simple yet profound: “We rise by lifting others.” This belief guided her throughout her life and continues to inspire the work of our foundation today.
